Description:

This global script adds tire sounds to all tractors with a maximum speed of at least 30 kph. The sound is only audible when driving at high speeds on roads; it does not play on fields or dirt roads. Different tire types, such as standard tractor mud tires, narrow tires, crawlers, and Nokian tires, produce slightly different sounds. Some tractors from the base game already feature tire sounds since FS22, which are disabled by default. You can enable the sound when purchasing the tractor in the shop, where you can also adjust the volume (from 40% to 300%). If you already own a tractor, you need to visit the workshop to activate the sound. The recommended volume setting is around 100% to 125% for tractors with the original Giants sound, often higher for mod tractors. You can modify the default configuration in the "modDesc.xml" file using "defaultVolumeConfigPercent". If the range isn't sufficient, you can adjust the volume in the "tireSound.xml" located in the "sounds" folder with "volumeScale". Usually, no changes are necessary in the XML files.
