Description:
The aluminum tipping bridge -Fortuna ALU CARGO- for the dump truck series offers customers an alternative transport solution. It features a high loading capacity, low dead weight, and excellent stability—qualities highly valued in the transport industry. Fortuna has developed a weight-optimized transport option for its dump trucks by combining two different materials. The new Fortuna tandem dump truck model: FTM 300 / 9.0 -ALU CARGO- combines a sturdy steel chassis with an aluminum dump body. These materials provide the benefits of durability and reduced weight. With a loading volume of approximately 53 cubic meters, air suspension, a self-steering axle, and 650/55 R 26.5 tires, this dump truck, equipped with a 7,500 mm long tipping body, has a tare weight of just 6,900 kg. The weight savings achieved through this material combination compared to steel dump trucks of the same volume increase the payload capacity, allowing a permissible total weight of 24,000 kg for this tandem dump truck. Additional aluminum body lengths are also available immediately. Great power from the new FTM 300’s cables. Adding wheel mud guards would enhance realism a lot!
