We are working on migrating Courseplay to Farming Simulator 2025. We don’t yet know how long it’ll take, it depends on how much the Giants API changed, when they make documentation and tools available, and of course, how much time we can spend on it. We’ll keep you updated on our progress here, please be patient. Courseplay allows you to generate field courses with additional features, for example: headlands. It also enables the usage of balers and forage wagons, that can be sent on the same course, as a mower or harvester from before. Another big feature is the collecting or wrapping of bales on the field. New with this iteration of CP is the vine fieldwork. Fieldwork courses can be set up in multitool mode, which allows the use of up to 5 drivers working in a convoy on the same field. It’s also possible to have the combine unload into a trailer on or near the field automatically. Custom field borders can be assigned for Courseplay to use, for example: in the case of a meadow, which isn’t recognized as a normal field. Lastly, CP has an interface for AutoDrive, which allows refilling a seeder at a nearby silo or unloading a forage wagon, and so on. With Version 7.2.1.0 or higher, it is also possible to use the combine unloader to create a heap near the field. What is the expert Mode? When the expert Mode is deactivated, you only have access to some settings. The other settings are hidden and set to default values, which work in most situations. This helps users get started with Courseplay more easily without being overwhelmed by all the options. Updates: V8.0.2.1 fixes #853, #871, and adds config #888. V8.0.2.0 fixes issues with the combine not starting (#818), direction dependence on start position (#802), and reverts changes from #709. It also fixes #795, #612, #196, and enhances the harvester with delayed filling (#357, #813). Improvements include turn adjustments for harvesters on second headlands, better alignment when approaching moving combines with large turn radius, controller input improvements, soil sampler and other PF fixes, Pathfinder enhancements, and a new custom field drawing feature on the CP AI Map. The new Pathfinder algorithm jump point search significantly speeds up pathfinding when the target is far away, and can be toggled in vehicle settings. The penalty factor for the pathfinder is set to 1 by default. Important: Increase modDesc Version to 98, which requires at least game version 1.8.0.1. V8.0.1.5 introduces a toggle for loop turn on headland, fixes #712, #669, #618, #756, and #727. V8.0.1.4 enhances #709, adjusts Gregoire GL vine harvester, adds new loop corner turns for towed implements with grain cars, and includes diagnostic debug output. The mod version is updated to at least patch 1.7.0.1. V8.0.1.3 improves active worker selection, resolves mod conflicts, increases maximum working width to 57, refactors the internal AD-CP interface, and reduces debug spam. V8.0.1.2 fixes field boundary detection and division by zero issues, and addresses NEXAT DLC bugs. Note: These fixes are crucial for NEXAT, though some issues remain. V8.0.1.1 adds course display on the mini map. V8.0.1.0 introduces a new construction frame for editing courses and custom fields, fixes tool raising/lowering independently, and improves multiplayer field detection. V8.0.0.12 hotfix addresses specific bugs. V8.0.0.11 fixes issues #557 and #568. V8.0.0.10 improves internal pathfinding and smoothing, and adds support for Universal Autoload. V8.0.0.9 fixes bugs #456, #475, #458, #392, and adds new languages. V8.0.0.8 fixes self-unload issues, workarounds for #448, and other bugs. V8.0.0.7 uses Giants’ working width first, fixes #433. V8.0.0.6 disables narrow field mode for Multitool, fixes Oxbo Harvester unloading, and other MP fixes. V8.0.0.5 fixes helper limits, uses Giants’ field scanner. V8.0.0.4 addresses #174, adds keybinds for direct start, and GUI tweaks. V8.0.0.3 fixes various harvester and bale wrapper issues, improves collision handling, and UI. V8.0.0.2 restores custom fields, adds HUD toggle keybind, fixes return to start, and other bugs. V8.0.0.1 improves AD HUD interaction, fixes pipe control, and UI. The initial FS25 migration (V8.0) reimplements most functions from FS22, with some features pending, including a course generator keybind and help menu updates. Course editor is temporarily disabled but will return later. Controller support will be improved in future updates.
