Many small farmers are forced to take on part-time or even full-time jobs to support their farms during tough economic times. This mod allows you to get a job to earn extra money when farm work slows down or prices drop. Most production buildings are supported. However, some buildings on mod maps and mod placeables might not be compatible. If a production is unsupported, the employment option won't appear. Otherwise, an input button (Shift+Y) will prompt when you're at the right location, typically near the production's icon or within range. Multiplayer is not supported due to how the mod functions. Features: - Businesses: -- 22 unique business types, with more to come -- Nearly every production point, factory, selling station, and buying station across each map is represented as a distinct company -- Each company has characteristics affecting salaries, chances of firing or promoting you, and raises -- Companies won't rehire you after firing -- Your relationship with your employer can improve or worsen based on your performance - Jobs: -- 35 unique jobs, with additional ones planned -- Each job has its own salary, education/experience requirements, sub-promotions, and monthly working hours -- Employers pay you at the end of each month based on hours worked -- You earn overtime pay for extra hours -- Climb the career ladder to access higher-paying jobs with fewer hours, giving you more time for farming and more income - Education: -- 5 levels of education, from high school to doctorate -- Each level requires studying at home for a set period -- After sufficient study, you can take an exam to achieve that education level -- Exams increase in difficulty with each level -- Failing an exam prevents retaking it for 24 hours -- Advancing to the next level unlocks new jobs with significantly better salaries - Part-Time Work: -- Some jobs allow part-time work -- Earn small amounts of money without commitments -- Work as many hours as you like without the risk of being fired - Experience: -- Gain experience over the years, unlocking new jobs with higher salaries and fewer hours
