Welcome to Rottumer Island. Update 1.2.0.0: - Adjusted the feed for the cows so you can use grass for zero grazing and still get 100% efficiency! - Added Soilmap for Precision Farming - Removed sheep from the pastures to prevent wool from spawning - Changed some road textures - Changed Diesel tank at the arable farm so you can refuel it - Minor changes to the decoration This is a fictional map based on my imagination. The story behind the island is that it is reclaimed land from the Wadden Sea (Netherlands) to create more space for dairy and arable farming. It also features a production forest for lumber that can be used on the island or processed into products. The dairy farms on the island are modeled after farms in the northern part of the Netherlands. The island includes several lakes and waterways connecting them. You can use these waterways and lakes to supply water to your animals and greenhouses, but not from the smaller ditches! Most of the island is flat, allowing you to build your own farm or production facilities wherever you like. You can also fill in the ditches to combine fields or create larger farmland if you prefer bigger plots. You start with 1 dairy farm and 1 arable farm, equipped with most of the tools and supplies needed to begin. By purchasing farmland/field 1, you gain access to the 'unbuyable' land, allowing you to mow the roadside and combine fields. Fences can be removed in multiplayer mode using FarmID 1. The recommended equipment for this map is small to medium-sized machinery. Features on the map include: - Soilmap for Precision Farming - 3 Dairy Farms - 1 Arable Farm - 1 Farmhouse with 3 Greenhouses - 1 Small Contractor Yard in the main town - 1 Horse Farm - 1 Boosted BGA (accepts straw and sugarbeets) - Several production facilities: Grainmill, Dairy, BGA, and Sawmill - 87 Fields - 98 Farmlands (including the fields) - 2 Production Forests - 2 Sheepbarns, one with a nearby Spinnery - 1 Small Cow Pasture - 1 Forest that can be chopped down, but where animals need to live! - 1 small building plot near the docks - Several sell points across the map No collectibles yet.
