BETA 2 What's New & Fixed Place Auction Animal The Place Auction Animal feature has been fixed. Animals are now correctly removed from their pen when placed into an auction. **Important:** You must wait until the auction opens before the animal will actually be sold. **Auction House Logos** Auction house logos have now been added throughout the auction system, making it easier to identify which auction house you are viewing. **Today's Sales Reworked** Today's Sales has been completely redesigned to provide more useful information. **You can now see:** - The auction house - The catalogue of animals - The lots coming up for auction - Which animals you may want to bid on This should make planning and deciding which lots to focus on much easier. **Pre-Bidding** You can now place bids on lots before they reach the auction. Place your bid in advance and register your interest before the auction goes live. **Beta 2** Thank you for helping us test Animal Auctions during this beta. These updates aim to make auctions easier to follow, plan for, and participate in. **Animal Auctions** Animal Auctions are designed to bring a more realistic and immersive auction experience to Farming Simulator. The system is integrated with Real Calendar, allowing auctions to be scheduled on specific days of the week rather than being available at any time. This adds a weekly routine to your farm. For example, Monday could be cattle auction day, another day for different livestock, and Saturday might be market day. The goal is to make the game world feel more alive with its own schedule, rather than always being open. **Current Features & Integrations** **Real Calendar integration** Auctions can be scheduled on specific days, fitting naturally into your farming routine. Works with the Real Calendar system to enhance immersion. **Realistic Livestock integration** Animal Auctions are compatible with Realistic Livestock. Special thanks to Ritter for the inspiration and development work on Realistic Livestock. Ritter was a key influence in my decision to start modding after Arrow’s fall, and I want to acknowledge that. **Animal Pack compatibility** The auction system also works with animal packs made for Realistic Livestock. This lays the groundwork for expanding beyond the standard livestock in the base game. **The Roadmap** This is just the beginning. The aim is to make auctions feel like a natural part of the farming world, not just a menu feature. **Final Stage — The All-In-One Auction System** **The ultimate goal is to develop a comprehensive, integrated auction system.** Combine different auction types into a single, seamless experience, potentially with fully 3D modeled environments, buildings, equipment, and props to make the auction feel like a real location within your farm. This long-term vision aims to create a fully immersive auction environment.
