Description:
An overhaul of the weather system, primarily focusing on snow. Features include three new disaster weather events: blizzards, droughts, and extremely thick fog. A new grass moisture system allows tedded grass to dry into hay over time. The info display in the top right has been extended to include temperature, upcoming disasters, and predicted snow amounts. A moisture mechanic has been added to fields, where each crop type has an ideal moisture range that increases harvest yield. Moisture levels change constantly based on sunlight, temperature, and rainfall, with crops suffering from extremely low moisture. Hail now causes damage to vehicles left outside, and wheel physics have been significantly altered. The maximum amount of snow has been doubled, and livestock will leave footprints in deep snow (only on high-end systems). Blizzards are rare events that can cause significant snowfall in a short time, with temperatures dropping as low as -15 degrees Celsius. Droughts lead to extreme heat and rapid moisture loss in fields. Extremely thick fog can reduce visibility for up to 14 hours. Wheel physics have been made more realistic, with friction changes based on road and vehicle conditions. Braking times now depend on friction and the number of wheels, with heavier vehicles sinking more in snow. Driving in heavy snow will be nearly impossible without specific vehicles. The grass moisture system allows tedded grass to dry into hay over time, with individual moisture content based on the field's moisture when mowed. A new info box shows moisture levels and whether tedding is needed. Please note that this feature may cause lag on lower-end systems or large fields. Changelog includes various fixes and improvements, including a new cell system for moisture retention, improved crop withering, new irrigation systems, and additional ambient sounds.
