Description:
The Deutz AgroStar 6.11 to 6.61 series was introduced by Deutz-Fahr in the early 1990s and belongs to the upper mid- to luxury-class tractor segment. Known for robust technology, high driving comfort, and the characteristic Deutz cooling system with air-cooled 6-cylinder engines, these models ranged from the AgroStar 6.11 with around 100 hp to the AgroStar 6.61 with approximately 143 hp. All tractors in this series featured a fully synchronized transmission with up to 24 forward and 12 reverse gears, optionally with Powershift, greatly enhancing work efficiency. A special highlight was the comfortable AgroStar cab, offering ergonomic controls, good sound insulation, and an optional suspended front axle for increased comfort. The hydraulic system provided high lifting capacities and multiple control valves, making these tractors versatile for arable farming, grassland, and transport. Today, the AgroStar models 6.11 to 6.61 are considered reliable classics, still popular among farmers and collectors for their simple yet durable technology.
