Real Fuel Consumption makes every tractor, combine, self-propelled machine, and truck burn diesel according to the actual power their engines deliver. It’s not based on a fixed multiplier.HOW IT WORKS
Fuel consumption depends on the engine’s power output (including PTO, slopes, weight, and draft) and engine speed: under the same load, fewer RPMs mean less fuel burned.
It also considers the real draft of plows, cultivators, disc harrows, subsoilers, and seeders, based on working width, speed, and depth (compatible with Variable Working Depth).
Rolling resistance varies for each wheel depending on the ground and moisture: mud increases resistance.
Trucks: their fuel use accounts for the truck engine, air drag, and road rolling resistance. You’ll notice this when loaded or going uphill.
This is only reflected in fuel consumption; it doesn’t slow down the vehicle or alter its handling.
AdBlue maintains its ratio to diesel. Cars, electric, and methane vehicles use the game’s calculations.ENGINE MODES (Alt+J)
ECO: limits RPM to the engine’s peak torque speed and smooths throttle response. It saves fuel when there’s spare power; at full load, savings are minimal.
STANDARD: the default factory engine mode.
POWER: increases throttle response and adds +10% power during transport and PTO operation, similar to John Deere’s IPM. It consumes fuel proportional to the increased power.
Switching modes is done via a dashboard click.HUD
Displays fuel consumption under the fuel gauge, matching the size of the Advanced Damage System’s reading, with the number in the mode’s color (l/h; kW on electric; kg/h on methane).
Mode icon appears next to the speedometer, showing one position with ADS enabled and another without. Both follow the game’s HUD scale.REPORT (Ctrl+J)
Shows liters, engine hours, average l/h, mode distribution, and estimated costs per vehicle and farm.
Also includes liters per hectare in the field, liters per 100 km on roads, and engine stopped time.SETTINGS (ESC > Game Settings)
Consumption options: Real or x1.25 to x3 for a more challenging game.
Includes real draft and rolling resistance, engine modes, notifications, fuel HUD, and mode HUD.COMPATIBILITY
Supports multiplayer and dedicated servers. The Advanced Damage System adds breakdowns to fuel consumption. Also features Variable Working Depth. Developed with passion for realistic farming simulation.V1.6.0.0
NEW
Trucks now burn fuel with their truck engine and account for air drag and road rolling resistance, which were not modeled before. Loaded and uphill, you’ll notice it: a 40-ton truck at 80 km/h uses about 32 l/100 km, and around 23 liters when empty.
Subsoilers and seeders now reflect their real fuel use (in the game, a 6 m seeder barely consumes anything).
POWER mode provides more power, similar to John Deere’s IPM: +10% in transport and PTO operation, burning fuel proportional to the power used.
Changing engine modes triggers a dashboard switch click.
rfcConsumo displays liters per hectare during work and liters per 100 km for trucks.FIXED
Icons no longer overlay the fuel report.CHANGED
The mode icon now has one position with Advanced Damage System enabled and another without, without any letters or messages when switching modes. Compatible with savegames from version 1.5.0.0. Supports multiplayer and dedicated servers.
