Use-up-Your-Tyres elevates your driving experience and vehicle maintenance to a new level. Ever wondered what happens when tyres become old and worn out? This mod offers the perfect opportunity to experience tyre usage progression both visually and physically, as well as manage their replacement. Tyres wear down with the distance traveled. By default, a tyre with a 2m diameter will be fully worn after approximately 38 km of driving, which should last about one in-game year under normal usage. Possible settings for tyre usage: 0.1x – tyre with diameter 2m lasts for 3.8 km 1x (DEFAULT) – tyre with diameter 2m lasts for 38 km 2x – tyre with diameter 2m lasts for 76 km 5x – tyre with diameter 2m lasts for 190 km 10x – tyre with diameter 2m lasts for 380 km 20x – tyre with diameter 2m lasts for 760 km 50x – tyre with diameter 2m lasts for 1900 km Functions: - Tyre tread visually wears and resizes with the traveled distance. - Each set of purchased tyres retains its wear value; switching between sets restores the previous wear level instead of resetting it. - Grip decreases on loose surfaces as the tyre visually wears. - Replacement mechanics are added to the workshop screens. - You can adjust the tyre wear rate through settings: Game Settings ? Use Your Tyres ? Tyre Usage Rate. V1.1.0.0 - Fixed warnings/errors in the game log related to missing textures when using modded vehicles. - Reworked settings to specify lasting distance instead of wear rate, with additional options: 2x, 5x, 20x, 50x. - Tyre wear no longer resets when the vehicle is reset. - Each tyre set has its own wear calculation; switching between bought sets restores the previous wear level instead of resetting it. - Added a notification at 85% tyre wear to warn players of the upcoming need for replacement.
