This mod displays helpful information for logs and assists with cutting to desired lengths or weights. You can use the hotkeys shown in the F1 menu to switch between length and weight modes, as well as to select the target length or weight. Note that while the length mode is precise, the weight mode is only an approximation and is not available in multiplayer. The chainsaw will snap to the indicated location once within 20cm, although the angle still needs to be adjusted manually. The help window provides information to help decide whether felling a tree or cutting it down further is worthwhile. To achieve the maximum quality in the base game (which is 120%), a piece of wood must be a near-perfect frustum of a cone, between 6-11m in length (about 20-36 feet), and must not have any branches still attached. Achieving maximum quality is not always possible. Realism players can also add an absolute or relative additional length buffer to the cut indication length in the general settings. This mod is compatible with the lumberjack mod. Hotkeys: [ C ] Switches between length mode and weight mode, or disables this feature. [ Z ] Cycles through the possible target lengths and weights.

This is definitely the best mod I've downloaded this week! The way it aids in precision cuts is impressive, especially monitoring lengths. Great way to up readability without harming gameplay realism. Logging has never felt smoother! Excited to see where it goes next.

This is a great helpersmod! I really appreciate how the clear in-game information contributes to both novice and experienced players being able to Falls. The different modes for cutting trunk lengths makes clear practical work while wood; one can adjust enhancements easy swapping too lastingatches; really remarkable !
