Two production buildings: from rocks to batteries COBALT REFINERY Stones from stone pickers are unloaded in the designated area (tipper or stone pallets), with a storage capacity of 500,000 liters. 25% of the stones are refined into cobalt sulfate and delivered in tanks. 75% are waste rock, which is resold directly. The tanks are decorative. BATTERY FACTORY Cobalt sulfate arrives in tanks (placed in the designated pallet area) or in a tanker. Direct connection: if the battery factory is less than 10 meters from the refinery, the sulfate is delivered directly to the factory as long as there is space (any surplus remains at the refinery in tanks). Production: pallets of 48 batteries (1,000 liters each); the produced sodium sulfate is resold directly. The sulfate tanks and battery pallets can be sold at product selling points.
