The game no longer stalls at the second midnight on a new save. The crop disease grid used to copy itself every frame while filling, and again at the day change, causing memory spikes of over a gigabyte on planted maps.
The sprayer’s Pass % now accurately reflects the ground sprayed. Previously, it reached 99% halfway across the field, causing Overlap Prevention to turn off early, stopping product application and lime spreading.
Reduced repeated log lines during save loads. Some Soil & Fertilizer lines, like “Retroactively injected SF fill types into … silo(s),” could repeat thousands of times in log.txt. Now, each appears once.Changed
Soil compaction now follows real wheel tracks and is represented on a 2 m map instead of 10 m squares. Slow vehicles and working combines compact the soil as they drive. A subsoiler, plow, or grassland weeder loosens the ground they work on. Compaction fades evenly across the field. Every wheel track contributes, so a day of work with a narrow implement packs the soil more than before.
