PTO Load System introduces a dynamic and more realistic power take-off load system to Farming Simulator 25. The mod calculates the current PTO load during operation based on the vehicle, attached implement, and current working conditions. This emphasizes the importance of tractor horsepower when selecting and operating PTO-driven equipment. Engaged implements are evaluated using at least their specified power requirements, even when idling. For headers without explicit requirements, the working power is estimated from the least powerful compatible harvester. The display shows the modeled working demand rather than measured engine output. PTO load varies dynamically during use; a powerful tractor can handle large implements easily, while an underpowered tractor may reach its limits under heavy load. Features include dynamic PTO load calculation, automatic detection of compatible implements, consideration of available engine power, support for multiple active implements, PTO load exceeding 100%, effects during overload, critical load warnings, clear HUD display, support for modded vehicles and implements, and multiplayer support. The goal of the PTO Load System is to make choosing between tractor and implement more meaningful and to add realism to everyday machinery operation. A larger tractor is not only useful for extra weight or speed—its additional horsepower is essential when operating demanding PTO-driven equipment.
