Description:

The base game chase camera isn't very effective. This mod improves its position and makes it much more functional. It modifies the Chase Camera to behave more like in racing games. It adjusts the third-person Chase Camera position without affecting the in-cab view. You can customize the camera behavior through General Settings > Advanced ChaseCam. If you only want to adjust the camera height without auto-alignment or reverse camera features, you can disable all other settings. This mod will then only change the camera height. - Camera Height: The camera is positioned above the vehicle, so the vehicle appears lower on the screen rather than centered. Settings: High (good overall, default) or Low (less suitable for combines). - Chase Camera Dynamics: Normal (default) briefly maintains its heading before smoothly catching up when turning. Relaxed is slower, allowing the camera to trail more. Off uses the base game camera. - Free Cam Auto Alignment: Moves the camera behind the vehicle when driving straight after looking around. Immediate (default), Delayed (ideal if you want manual control for side shots but still auto-align), or Off (no auto-align). This applies only to Free cam (mouse, right stick). The camera will auto-align if Chase Camera Dynamics is enabled. - Reverse Camera (enabled by default): Automatically rotates the camera when reversing and returns to forward view one second after reversing stops. Turning it off disables all reverse camera features. - Reverse Camera Auto Center: Off (default) means the camera won't recenter if using free cam. On recenters the camera after looking around in reverse. - Reverse Camera Turn Speed: Adjusts how fast the camera moves in and out of reverse. Options: Smooth (default), Fast, or Instant.
