Version 1.3.8.7 includes a fixed release with major performance improvements, an event-based vehicle registration system, optimized work areas, weed cache, shared RWSM/VMT wheel contact core, and a fix for a critical wheel contact Lua error. It features a comprehensive overhaul of the soil model, incorporating three-layer water balance, infiltration, runoff, deep drainage, Kc, TAW/RAW/Ks, dynamic root depth, frost, soil structure, and seasonal yield. Multiplayer/Sync level B ensures quantized network data, terrain/density callback broker with VMT, only purchased real fields, hidden streets, and event-driven ground calculations instead of constant full field queries. The seed machine FPS drops are addressed through consistent conversion, chunk-based processing, and removal of RWSM WorkArea geometry for Seeder/Planter. Field info has been revised to include nFK, three water layers in mm, irrigation needs, understandable soil status, adaptive scaling, and concrete soil improvement recommendations, with Lua syntax errors fixed. Field info stability has been enhanced, especially for root health at 100% and changing compaction values. A new ground-following Rainstar hose with distance-independent auto-reel allows movement without a nearby player. Savegame start stabilization for Rainstar prevents pulling impulses and instability after loading, with GIANTS hose as a fallback if the new ground hose isn't initialized correctly. ExternalShapesFile reference issues have been fixed to ensure proper loading of the IrriFrance hose mesh. Realistic Water & Soil Management expands Farming Simulator 25 by maintaining a persistent water, soil, and plant balance, with interactions between rain, irrigation, evaporation, soil type, terrain, compaction, tire pressure, tillage, and plant development. Fields now feature a multi-layered water balance, considering topsoil, root zone, and subsoil, with separate calculations for each. Precipitation, irrigation, evaporation, seepage, drainage, runoff, plant water absorption, soil type, structure, compaction, and landform are all accounted for. The usable field capacity is distinguished from pore saturation, with excess water capable of seeping away, runoff, or causing waterlogging. RWSM differentiates soil types such as loamy sand, sandy loam, clay, and silty clay, each with specific properties like field capacity, wilting point, water retention, infiltration, drainage, bearing capacity, and sinking depth. Soils dry at different rates, with loamy and clay-rich soils storing more water but remaining soft longer and being prone to compaction. Regional climate influences precipitation, temperature, evaporation, wind, humidity, sunlight, and seasonal distribution, directly affecting soil moisture and evaporation. Drying is influenced by temperature, wind, sun, humidity, soil type, compaction, and surface water, with a moisture memory preventing immediate complete drying after rain. Local depressions are detected for waterlogging, collecting water, drying slowly, and increasing compaction risk, which can lead to oxygen deficiency in roots. Terrain evaluation is cached for performance. Soil compaction is stored separately for topsoil, root space, and underbody, influenced by vehicle weight, payload, wheel and axle loads, tire width and pressure, recommended field pressure, soil moisture, soil type, slip, speed, and cornering. Multiple crossings are considered, with damage accumulating over passes. Roots and plant stress are simulated, including root health, fine root health, achievable root depth, drought stress, waterlogging, oxygen deficiency, compaction, nutrients, pH, and mechanical damage, affecting water and nutrient absorption. Actual yield depends on water balance, dryness, waterlogging, root health, compaction, soil structure, nutrients, pH, seedbed, weeds, lanes, and mechanical damage, with damage effects building over time. Crop vitality visuals (Alpha) depict local differences in plant health, such as plant height, stock density, stress zones, and development, without altering growth or harvest maturity. Weed competition is modeled, with weeds competing for water, nutrients, light, and space, potentially reducing growth and yield. Tillage devices like plows, cultivators, disc harrows, rotary harrows, subsoilers, seeders, and rollers are evaluated for working depth, soil moisture, compaction, structure, seedbed strength, and plow soles. Deep loosening is effective only with suitable soil moisture; cultivating wet soil can cause structural damage. The seedbed and rollers are assessed for strength, with rolling providing reconsolidation based on soil type, moisture, and compaction. The mod includes a functional Rainstar irrigation system with a motor pump, hose reel, sprinkling rail, adjustable pump pressure and radius, real application rate, water consumption, soil input in millimeters, automatic hose retraction, work and transport modes, parking brake, clutch aid, connection markers, sound, and visible water jet. The applied water adjusts the soil's water balance. Extended field info displays topsoil moisture, pore saturation, surface condition, excess water, all soil layers' water content, soil type, evaporation, temperature, wind, compaction, structure, seedbed strength, root condition, plant vitality, height, density, stress causes, and climate values. The Water-Soil API offers a versioned interface for other mods, providing data on soil type, moisture, pore saturation, plant-available water, surface moisture, carrying capacity, trafficability, sink factor, sinking depth, compaction, track depth, root condition, evaporation, recommended tire pressure, and plant vitality. Other mods can report traffic loads and ground effects to RWSM. Integration with Visual Mud Tracks transmits wheel load, axle load, tire pressure, width, slip, vehicle weight, payload, soil moisture, carrying capacity, sink factor, and track depth, enabling realistic visualization of tracks, sinking, mud, and tire behavior. Savegame and multiplayer data such as water balance, precipitation history, compaction, track depth, soil structure, root condition, edit history, plant vitality, irrigation data, pump pressure, radius, hose retraction are stored and synchronized, with calculations server-authoritative for multiplayer. Highlights include the multi-layered water balance, long-term soil compaction effects, direct connection to Visual Mud Tracks, local waterlogging detection, visible plant vitality, realistic tire pressure influence, root health and plant stress simulation, functional irrigation, various tillage systems, detailed field info, persistent multiplayer system, open Water-Soil API, and unchanged crop growth stages. The pump reads only the vanilla hose status: hose not connected stops the pump, disconnecting hose stops the pump immediately. Weather Hud 3 size options are now available: normal, small, very small, and vanilla. Performance fixes are included. Required mods: Precision Farming, Visual Mud Tracks.
