Version 1.3.7 Work mode FIX Seed machine and implement performance Fundamentally optimized processing of seed drills, direct seeders, planters, and seedbed combinations. Multiple sowing rows within the same RWSM soil cell are now calculated only once. Early detection and skipping of duplicate and overlapping work areas. Grid cells already reached are not fully processed again with each calculation. Device and WorkArea discovery is cached for efficiency. Multiple active vehicles are processed across different frames. Significantly reduced FPS drops on wide seed drills and devices with many individual work areas. Supports normal sowing, no-till, planters, rotary harrows, seedbed combinations, and simultaneous fertilization. More realistic topsoil compaction Topsoil compaction is now influenced more by tire pressure, width, contact patch, ground contact pressure, slip, and ground moisture, rather than just total weight. Light vehicles can cause compaction on loose or wet soil. Low tire pressure and wide tires better protect the topsoil. The first pass causes most compaction; subsequent passes increase it more slowly. Cornering, slipping, and repeated trips increase ground stress. Compaction depends more on field capacity and soil bearing capacity. More realistic root zone compaction New sliding load assessment between topsoil and subsoil. Root zone reacts strongly to medium to high wheel loads. Moisture and soil type influence the start of compaction effects at medium machine weights. High tire pressures, slippage, and repeated passes increase root zone compaction. Subsoilers loosen the root zone more effectively than cultivators or plows. More realistic subsoil compaction Previous blanket underbody compaction caused by light vehicles has been removed. Damage to the underbody no longer occurs automatically with each crossing. Low risk with axle loads below approximately 5-6 tonnes on stable ground. Increased risk between approximately 6-10 tonnes. High impact with axle loads around 10-12 tonnes, especially on damp or wet ground. Underbody compaction is mainly determined by wheel and axle loads. Low tire pressure continues to protect topsoil but cannot fully prevent deep loads on heavy machinery. Tracked vehicles reduce surface pressure but still exert significant load effects in the underbody. Multiple passes in the same lane increase permanent depth compaction. Severe subsoil compaction cannot be fully remedied in a single operation. Soil cultivation and loosening Cultivators, disc harrows, rotary harrows, and plows mainly loosen topsoil. Normal tillage does not alleviate severe subsoil compaction. Plows loosen topsoil and parts of the root zone. Repeated plowing at the same depth can create or reinforce plow soles. Plowing when soil moisture is too high can cause shear and structural damage. Subsoilers work on topsoil, root zone, plow sole, and subsoil. Deep loosening is most effective in dry to moderately moist soil. Wet ground reduces effectiveness due to smearing and plastic deformation. Trailing packers or rollers can reconsolidate loosened topsoil. Compaction in all field conditions Works independently of plant population. Addresses topsoil, root zone, and subsoil compaction in harvested areas, stubble fields, dug soil, plowed ground, seedbed, and uncultivated fields. Only active plant populations can suffer additional damage. Soil cultivation equipment can partially loosen recent topsoil compaction. Subsoil remains compacted unless a suitable subsoiler is used. Global field simulation Ground values now update over time even when no player is nearby. Existing and saved ground cells continue to run on the server side. Distant fields develop in terms of soil moisture, drainage, surface drying, soil structure, soil life, weed development, root stress, and yield factors. Remote helpers, AI vehicles, and active machines are recorded regardless of player position. The previous limit of six active computing centers has been removed. New soil cells are permanently included in the simulation after first capture. Round robin calculation distributes the workload over many frames. Each cell is updated sequentially, then returned to the calculation order. Elapsed time between updates is fully considered. This ensures distant fields are correctly simulated over time without causing large FPS drops. Compatibility and unchanged functions WaterSoilAPI remains fully compatible. Visual Mud Tracks compatibility remains. Saving and multiplayer support are maintained. Existing soil, moisture, crop, and yield systems remain integrated. Rainstar, sprinkler cart, hose reel, manual attach, auto-reel, and 3D models are unchanged from version 1.36.73.0. Realistic Water & Soil Management expands Farming Simulator 25 with a persistent water, soil, and plant balance. Rain, irrigation, evaporation, soil type, terrain, compaction, tire pressure, tillage, and plant development are interconnected. Fields now respond with a layered water balance involving topsoil, root zone, and subsoil. Natural depressions retain moisture longer; heavy vehicles cause more compaction on wet soil; inadequate tire pressure increases topsoil load. These effects influence soil structure, root health, plant growth, and yield long-term. Features Multi-layered water balance Calculates soil water separately for: - Topsoil (0-10 cm) - Root zone (10-30 cm) - Subfloor (30-60 cm) Considers precipitation, irrigation, evaporation, seepage, drainage, runoff, plant water uptake, soil type, structure, compaction, and terrain. Displays usable field capacity separately from total pore saturation. Excess water can seep, runoff, or cause waterlogging. Different soil types Differentiates soil with properties such as: - Loamy sand - Sandy loam - Clay - Silty clay Each with specific values for field capacity, wilting point, water retention, infiltration, drainage, bearing capacity, compaction risk, and sinking depth. Sandy soils dry faster; loamy and clay-rich soils retain more water but are prone to compaction. Dynamic weather and climate Regional climate influences: - Precipitation - Temperature - Evaporation - Wind - Humidity - Sunlight Seasonal variations affect soil moisture and evaporation. Realistic drying Drying depends on temperature, wind, sun, humidity, soil type, compaction, and surface water, not just timers. A wetness memory prevents immediate drying after rain. Natural depressions and waterlogging Detects low areas within fields. These zones: - Collect water - Dry slowly - Have lower load capacity - Promote sinking and track formation - Increase compaction risk - Can cause oxygen deficiency to roots. Terrain evaluation is cached for performance. Soil compaction Saved separately for: - Topsoil - Root space - Underbody Influenced by: - Vehicle weight - Payload - Wheel load - Axle load - Tire width and pressure - Recommended field pressure - Soil moisture - Soil type - Slip - Speed - Cornering - Multiple crossings High tire pressure stresses topsoil more; low pressure protects it. High axle loads can compact deeper layers. Multiple passes increase permanent depth compaction. Severe subsoil compaction cannot be fully remedied in one pass. Soil cultivation and loosening Tools include: - Plow - Cultivator - Disc harrow - Rotary harrow - Subsoiler - Seeder - Roller Evaluation considers working depth, soil moisture, compaction, seedbed strength, multiple cultivation, and plow soles. Deep loosening is most effective in suitable moisture conditions. Cultivating wet soil can cause damage. Seedbed and rollers RWSM assesses seedbed strength. Too loose seedbeds impair sealing; over-reconsolidation affects airflow and roots. Rolling reconsolidates soil; effectiveness depends on soil type, moisture, and compaction. Irrigation system Includes a functional Rainstar system with: - Pump - Hose reel - Sprinkler - Adjustable pump pressure and radius - Real application rate - Water consumption - Soil input in mm - Automatic hose retraction - Work and transport modes - Parking brake - Clutch aid - Connection markers - Sound and visible water jet Water application adjusts the soil’s water balance. Extended field info Displays: - Topsoil moisture - Pore saturation - Surface condition - Excess water - Water in all soil layers - Soil type - Evaporation - Temperature and wind - Compaction - Soil structure - Seedbed strength - Root condition - Plant vitality - Height and density - Main stress causes - Climate data Water-Soil API Provides a versioned interface for other mods. Includes data on: - Soil type - Soil moisture - Pore saturation - Water availability - Surface moisture - Carrying capacity - Trafficability - Sink factor and depth - Compaction - Track depth - Root condition - Evaporation - Recommended tire pressure - Plant vitality Other mods can report ground effects to RWSM. Connection with Visual Mud Tracks Transmits: - Wheel load - Axle load - Tire pressure and width - Slip - Vehicle weight and payload - Soil moisture - Carrying capacity - Sink factor and track depth Enables linking visible tracks, sinking, mud, and tire behavior to ground conditions. Saving and multiplayer Stores and synchronizes: - Water balance - Precipitation history - Compaction - Track depth - Soil structure - Root condition - Edit history - Plant vitality - Irrigation data - Pump pressure and radius - Hose retraction Calculation is server-authoritative for multiplayer.
