V0.9.2.6: - Added adjustable throttle input for keyboard players, simulating gas pedal pressure. A tutorial message has been included to explain this mechanic. - Fixed an issue where AI workers could not operate large plows in multiplayer. - Improved the detection mechanism for whether a vehicle is under cover. - Fixed incorrect ADS behavior on servers with no players, which could cause issues like voltage drops despite a charged battery. Special thanks to JoellenbeckModding for help with reproduction and testing. - Fixed an issue where the tutorial module could cause an infinite loading screen in multiplayer. - Added a console command to manually include or exclude vehicles from ADS: ads_setExcluded true|false. - Added a setting to adjust the thermal model simulation speed. - Fixed a conflict with TerraFarm that prevented certain vehicles from starting. - Fixed a conflict with Courseplay that caused vehicles to slow down when collecting soil samples. - Improved engine load calculation compatibility with the More Realistic mod. - Fixed an issue where AI workers ignored stalled vehicles due to breakdown effects and continued driving with the engine off. - Updated the Turkish translation (by GHART-coder). V0.9.2.5: - Added vehicle icons to the ADS Fleet Management menu (by Squallqt). - Improved protection against invalid values from the game engine. - Excluded more unsupported vehicle types from ADS processing. - Fixed a tutorial error when using CVT Addon. - Rebalanced most wear factor multipliers, reducing them by 20-30%. - Fixed incorrect wheel slip and stationary steering wear triggers. - Improved PTO angle calculation. - Added minimum and maximum inspection price limits. - Capped overhaul costs to not exceed vehicle value. - Mobile workshop services and repairs no longer wash vehicles. - Improved service interval display in reports and workshop status. - Added Czech, Finnish, Turkish, and Ukrainian translations. - Updated Hungarian translation. Changelog 0.9.2.0: - Significant rebalancing of system wear factors. - Enabling "Quick Inspection" during an ongoing inspection completes it instantly. - Enabling "Park Vehicle" during service applies immediately. - Warnings for cold or overheated engine/transmission now appear as a single notification. - Dashboard alerts for critical loads. - Redesigned dashboard indicators with sound effects. - Option to disable all warning messages. - Fixed engine and CVT temperature synchronization under load. - Correct application of battery capacity settings. - Fixed repair counter in Maintenance Log. - Fixed issues with queued service procedures causing repainting and charges. - Fixed AutoDrive AI ignoring critical breakdowns. - Minor UI improvements. Attention: BETA Version Please note: this mod is currently in BETA. Always back up your savegames before use. It is strongly recommended to read the Mod Guide at the bottom of the GitHub main page. Without understanding core mechanics, ADS can be frustrating, as improper maintenance and operation lead to frequent breakdowns. Advanced Damage System (ADS) ADS is a complete overhaul of vehicle damage and maintenance mechanics in Farming Simulator 25. Reliability now depends on how carefully and efficiently you operate your equipment. Pushing machinery hard and neglecting maintenance increases failure risk. There are no more instant repairs; maintenance takes time, resources, and planning. Monitor wear, service vehicles timely, and manage your fleet to prevent breakdowns from disrupting work. Quick Guide: If you prefer not to read the full guide but want to avoid constant breakdowns and frustration, follow these three rules: 1. Always follow the service interval. Default is about 5 hours of operation. Check it in the workshop, in the vehicle info panel, or in the ADS fleet management menu (opened with P). Perform maintenance once the interval is reached. 2. Inspect and prepare your machines daily. Hold R near the vehicle for a quick inspection, clean with Air Blower, and lubricate with Grease Gun as needed. Routine checks reduce failures. 3. Do not abuse your equipment. Avoid overloading, overheating, using heavy implements, excessive wheel slip, cold engine work, and high-speed driving on rough terrain. If something would harm a machine in real life, it’s harmful in ADS too. Key Features: - Complete replacement of vanilla damage system. - Vehicles divided into critical systems: engine, transmission, hydraulics, cooling, fuel, working systems, electrical, chassis. Each has wear factors based on use. - Regular maintenance is essential to prevent accelerated wear. - Dynamic breakdowns linked to specific systems, with gameplay effects. - Reworked workshop logic includes inspection, repair, maintenance, and overhaul, each taking real in-game time. - Realistic thermal simulation: engines need warm-up, can overheat, especially in hot weather or restricted airflow. - Battery and alternator simulation: batteries can discharge, alternators fail, starting can become difficult. Vehicles can jump-start each other. - Vehicle-specific characteristics: reliability and maintainability vary by brand and age. - Pre-shift inspection and maintenance: check, clean, and lubricate before work.
