Textures updated for game version 1.2.0. Maasland 4x is a Dutch-inspired fantasy map with a simple design. Since it is intended for multiplayer, I aimed to keep it as clean as possible to ensure smooth gameplay.
The reason I created this map: many maps have their strengths and weaknesses. For example, I like the Papenburg map, but the editor is no longer supported.
I love the American flatlands, but that map has many bugs. Juocta Map is nice but contains too many custom items, which I find off-putting. Then there are more realistic maps, but they don’t quite meet my expectations.
As I always tell people who complain about others or their mods: if you think you can do better, do it yourself. That’s exactly what I did. Initially, it was just for my friends and me to play together.
But after streamer Qesslygaming asked me to showcase the map during a live stream, I reconsidered. For now, I don’t plan to update the map unless major issues arise.

– 138 farmland plots
– 132 fields (smallest 4.8ha, largest 89ha)
– 5 empty farm spots (since many dislike pre-placed farms)
– Logging area
– Small town in the center
– Several buy and sell points
– Dark tarmac texture from the AS map
– Sidewalk texture from the EU map
– Animal trader (working as intended)
– Three new crops: millet, rye, hops
– Train system
– Soccer field for multiplayer farming fun
