The CVX series (or CVT at Steyr) is derived from the CS tractor series. The CVXs produced between 2000 and 2003 include models 120, 130, 150, and 170, followed by the 140, 160, 175, and 195 models from 2003 to 2011. The tractor is assembled in St. Valentin, Austria. It is powered by a Sisu 620 6-cylinder turbo engine with 6.6 liters of displacement, paired with a continuously variable transmission developed through a Steyr-ZF joint venture. The engine and transmission are managed by 'APM' (automatic engine speed management), an innovative system that helps reduce fuel consumption, for which the CVX is well known. All tractor components communicate via Bus-Can networks. Depending on the model, it comes standard or as an option with a suspended Carraro front axle. As an option, the tractor can be equipped with a Zuidberg front linkage and a 1000 rpm front PTO. To assist on steep slopes with heavy loads, it can be fitted with an engine brake that acts on the exhaust. In 2003, the number of speed ranges increased from 2 to 3. Available configurations include front loaders (Quicke, mp-lift, Hauer, MX, Stoll), various tags (left, right, both) in nine different types, different monitors, GPS systems (autoguide, Matrix), and Isaria Pro Compact (Precision Farming). The tractor is available in all basic colors. Price: €80,000. Top speed: 53 km/h. Engine options include: CVX120 (120 hp), CVX130 (130 hp), CVX140 (140 hp), CVX150 (150 hp), CVX160 (160 hp), CVX170 (170 hp), CVX175 (175 hp), CVX195 (195 hp), and CVX195+ (225 hp). More realistic physics are supported, thanks to thomagri for tire configurations (many more planned). Compatible mods include Precision Farming and Interactive Control. Version 1.0.1.0 features adjustments to lights that move with the cabin, improved mudguard fitting when steering, fixed some warnings, and sound updates. Required mods: Interactive Control and Precision Farming.
