Welcome to The Great Smoky Mountains. This map is based on a fictional location representing the southern part of the Great Smoky Mountains. Here, you'll find a variety of terrains ranging from relatively flat land to very steep hills. You start with a large cotton farm equipped with all necessary tools. You'll also begin with sheep, goats, chickens, and horses that you'll need to care for. Aside from the starter farm, there are 7 farms available for purchase, 47 fields, and 120 farmlands. If you prefer not to do much farming, plenty of trees are available for mountain forestry. The map features multiple production points and selling stations, including bakeries, carpentry, dairy, farmers market, grain mill, oil mill, piano manufacturing, supermarket, sawmill, spinnery, and tailor shop. Buy points include animal trader, gas station, warehouse, and vehicle dealer. New and updated features include new crops such as alfalfa, clover, flowering catchcrop, green rye, rye, spelt, silage maize, triticale, vetched rye, winter wheat, and winter barley. The map introduces a row crop system, additional ground angles, stubble destruction, updated textures, a custom planting and harvest calendar, more paintable textures, new crops for animal feed, and updated silos and bunkers. Weather patterns now match the location with custom sunrises, sunsets, very dark nights, and custom lighting and tornados. Production capacities and outputs have been increased, and silos at farms support multiple fruits. If you have the Highlands pack, you'll have access to a boat, which cannot be sold and won't return to its start point if reset. In multiplayer, only the host can access the boat; other players will see it under the map. Enjoy the map! Special thanks to IKAS FanModding for the buildings and InsaneSimGuy for the silo. This is my third map, and I'm still learning. Required mods include Old Skool Pack, Old Barn With Flag, Small Barndominium, Old Grain Silo Multifruit, Greenhouse with Canned Packaged Foods Production, American Building Pack Pt1, and Pt2.
