Lipp tower silos became popular in southern Germany during the 1970s and 80s and remain a common sight today. Each silo is still built on-site using Lipp’s double-seam technology, with 400mm wide stainless steel strips spirally wound upwards and the seams folded. This unique manufacturing process allows for quick, cost-effective assembly and a durable lifespan. The recreated silo has a capacity of 160m³ and is filled with a Claas forage chopper. The blower can be easily installed or removed from beneath the pipe with a click of the mouse. Silage can be removed manually or with a milling machine, and the finished silage can be collected from beneath the discharge chute using a shovel, trailer, or conveyor belt. Capacity: 160,000 liters Price: $24,000 Maintenance Cost: $55 Production Speed: 3,500 liters/hour
