The GPS Headland Assist helps you when driving the headland using the standard GPS system. When enabled, the vanilla GPS lane guidance automatically switches to the next segment at the end of the current lane in headlands and field islands. This eliminates the need to reactivate the GPS or manually steer on curved field contours. In the settings, you can adjust the maximum angle at which the system switches to the next lane segment, supporting up to 80 degrees. For steeper transitions, manual control is still required. You can also set how many meters before the end of the lane segment the switch should occur. If the segment switch doesn’t happen automatically, you can increase the search radius for connecting segments at the end of the active segment. Warning: Setting the radius too high, especially with narrow working widths, may cause the GPS to select the wrong lane.
