The term "Jaguar tank" typically refers to either the modern French EBRC Jaguar armored reconnaissance vehicle or the 1980s Sino-American Jaguar main battle tank prototype. The EBRC is a fast (over 90 km/h), 25-ton 6×6 vehicle equipped with a 40mm cannon and Akeron anti-tank guided missiles. The 1980s project was an upgraded Type 59 designed for export.
