Multiple Silage Types introduces crop-specific silage variants and new harvest mechanics. NEW FILL TYPES
– Grass Chaff – produced by the forage harvester from grass, field grass, and alfalfa
– GPS Chaff – produced from grain windrows (whole crop silage route)
– Grass Silage – fermented from Grass Chaff in bunker silos or wrapped bales
– Whole Crop Silage (GPS) – fermented from GPS Chaff
– Grain Windrow – produced by mowing wheat, barley, oats, triticale, rye, or sorghum at the final growth stage

GPS HARVEST CHAIN
Wheat, barley, oats, triticale, rye, and sorghum can be mowed at their final growth stage. The mower creates grain windrows, which are then collected by a forage harvester with pickup header and turned into GPS Chaff.FORAGE WAGON – KNIFE FUNCTION
Forage wagons now feature a toggleable knife mode. When activated, the knives chop the picked-up grass into Grass Chaff instead of loading it as loose grass. This slightly reduces driving speed and increases power consumption but offers a small yield bonus, doubled when using silage additives. A HUD overlay displays the current knife status.FORAGE WAGON – COMPRESSION
When the forage wagon is active (pickup engaged), the material in the loading area is compressed, increasing effective capacity by 60%. A second fill level indicator on the HUD shows the compressed fill level.BALER SUPPORT
Balers can now produce Grass Chaff and GPS Chaff bales with unique textures. Wrapped bales ferment into the respective silage type. Grass silage and GPS silage bales are available for purchase in the shop.FULL INTEGRATION
– Mixer wagons accept all fermented types as silage ingredients for TMR
– Animal feeding: fermented types are injected into appropriate food groups
– BGA / selling stations: all new types are accepted by biogas plants and selling points
