The "Advanced Silage Types" mod globally expands all bunker silos, biogas plants, and feeding robots with additional silage types. The script adds fillTypes *GRASS_FERMENTED*, *CLOVER_FERMENTED*, and *ALFALFA_FERMENTED*, named according to MaizePlus conventions to prevent conflicts with other mods. It is based on template structures provided by T4xs. All new silage types are processed like standard silage. Stationary productions (BGA) and bunker silos automatically accept these new types as valid input, with methane output adjusted for higher-quality silage. The script also extends all stationary feeding robots, allowing them to accept the new silage types at their unloading points and convert them into the standard forage mixture. Silos can ferment any supported crop if the corresponding fillTypes are registered on the map; unregistered or missing fillTypes are ignored to ensure maximum compatibility. Additionally, all new silage types are integrated into silage additives in forage wagons and harvesters. Visual differences in fillPlanes inside silos may occur due to technical limitations but do not affect functionality. Users can add their own silage types through a well-organized table. I found this mod extremely useful when processing alfalfa. Transitioning to fermented types improved my overall fermentation efficiency at the biogas plant, which in turn meant quicker turnaround times for solar flares! Very nice addition for LSD farms.
