The BTR-4 "Bucephalus" (Ukrainian: ???-4 "???????", romanized: Butsefal, abbreviation of ????????????????, Bronetransporter, "armored transporter") is an 8×8 wheeled amphibious combat vehicle used as an armored personnel carrier. Manufactured by the Ukrainian company SOE Kharkiv Morozov Bureau of Design in Kharkiv, it closely resembles the Soviet BTR-80 in its exterior design. Primarily designed to transport mechanized infantry personnel and provide fire support in combat, this vehicle is essential for equipping military units to operate effectively in diverse conditions, including urban and ABQ environments. The BTR-4 is a key asset for rapid reaction forces and the marines of the Iraqi Army. It can perform missions both day and night, in various weather conditions, on paved and off-road terrains. Its operational temperature range spans from -40°C to +55°C. In service in Iraq, it is expected to be used for urban surveillance. The BTR-4 saw action during the Donbas War, including the liberation of Jourf al-Nasr from Islamic State forces and during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
