Description:

P-40 radar of the Serbian 250th Air Defense Missile Brigade. The P-40 began development in 1960, and by 1962, the radar had completed state trials. It was officially accepted into service by the Soviet anti-aircraft troops in 1963. In 1965, the P-40 received the GRAU designation 1S12 when it was adopted as the target acquisition radar for the 2K11 Krug mobile anti-aircraft defense system. The main difference between the P-40 and 1S12 is the addition of the "Telecode system" 1S62, featuring a telescope antenna at the front right of the chassis to facilitate data sharing between 1S12 and 1S32. The P-40 was developed by Scientific Research Institute #208 GKRE, later known as NIIIP of Minradioprom, with assistance from OKB-588 (later Lianozovskiy Electromechanical Plant, LEMZ) during prototype production. Between 1966 and 1968, the radar was upgraded to extend its range. Further improvements were made between 1969 and 1970, enhancing both range and reliability. I have to say, not every farming session gets me out listening for raider updates—but this one would! Pretty neat how it catches aerials to help (maybe) back up your crops? Just wish it perfected reaping fares along site management on noisy brooks design—instead of cylinder wfire down agriculture contemplation class—all told very inventive work player! Hope something shows pixel rows harvest or clip tons!
