We are back in FS25! Unfortunately, Giants didn't fix issues with manual transmissions and the clutch, so this mod remains essential for players using manual or clutch settings, especially with a shifter and pedals. The goal is to fix all major and minor realism issues with default Farm Sim transmissions. This is still a BETA version—I've been testing it for 2-3 weeks, and it’s one of the first things I converted. I also updated and fixed some aspects compared to FS22, which mostly work the same. Below are the key differences between FS22 and FS25. I aim to release this mod as a beta now, after holding back in FS22 due to ongoing improvements I wanted to implement. For now, the features are final—at least for this initial version. Just need to fix any bugs that appear.Changes between FS22 and FS25
– added park brake/handbrake function. Since no other mods had this feature at the time, it was necessary to include it. With EnhancedVehicle now released, the EV parking brake should work again, disabling the REA-GB parking brake. If you don’t use EV, set the key binds accordingly.
– added XML support to modify base game vehicle gearbox settings (including John Deere 3650, Zetor Proxima 120HD, Zetor Forterra HSX140, and Zetor Crystal; more will follow)
– fixed MP synchronization issues where gear shifts with gear levers only synchronized up to gear 7, making H/L gear vehicles unplayable in multiplayer.
Feature List FS25
– removes all unnatural/automatic braking, restoring engine braking based on gear ratio
– adds constant RPM regulation (vehicle maintains idle RPM when not pressing the gas)
– linear gas pedal (50% pedal = 50% RPM, unlike Giants default where pedal is acceleration, not throttle)
– real physical RPM everywhere (wheels, sound, HUD, engine RPM are synchronized and realistic; Giants default separates sound/visual RPM from physics)
– proper clutch calculation, allowing clutch slipping and realistic feel
– added hand throttle (no automatic RPM increase when PTO is engaged)
– removed artificial RPM drops when lifting and pressing the gas pedal (Giants artificially lowers sound/visual RPM by about 200rpm each time)
– fixed bug with automatic full brake when clutching in reverse
– added support for axis shifting in FPS transmissions
– included handbrake functionality
– supported second Group-Set for Gears, Groups, and second Group operations (e.g., Gears, R, L, H Group, and L/H Powershift). Inputs need to be configured; defaults are not set.

This definitely enhances realism in vehicle operations. A few inconsistencies arose during test drives, mostly while shifting under load which we're encouraged in realistic scenarios. Bug fixes need further attention for stabiliztion. Overall spirit feels right, doubling down will get this close to perfection.

This mod greatly enhances the driving experience of my farming setup. The manual transmissions feel much more refined, providing that realistic touch that’s often needed. The inclusion of clutch corrections adds a wonderful level of immersion that showcases your skill. Though still in beta, I noticed fewer bugs compared to stock settings. It fits seamlessly into the MoreRealistic Mod conventions, cementing itself as a staple in my farm lineup. I firms suggest continuing to fine-tune idle RPM regulation for an even closer to real-life feel. Great work here!
