Welcome to Owen Dale, Michigan. In 1882, as three new rail lines began to lay track in Huron County, two cousins from Saginaw, Michigan—John G. and John S. Owen—purchased land in the Columbia Swamp. The following year, they opened a sawmill to harvest the native oak. John G. Owen hired civil engineer Quincy Thomas to survey a town site in 1887. The streets, alleys, and parks were dedicated to the public for their perpetual use, and the village was named Owen Dale. The sawmill burned down in 1896, and the Owen Dale area shifted from lumbering to agriculture. Credits to the modders who helped me with this map. **Welcome to Owen Dale, Michigan** This is my very first map for Farming Simulator 25. I enjoyed creating this map, and I want to thank those who helped me build it: - Taylor Farms for the base game map - Jdunn1019 for assistance on some projects - Farmer Pierce for guidance - Winston for creating the Owen Dale Store sign lighting - Profuse_ice2023 for help with traffic intersections - Maxtor Gaming for support when needed - IKAS Fan Modding for allowing me to use his buildings, including two real structures: Pioneer Dealer and Case dealership, created by Patty and Ikas - Celobuki for the grain dryer - Snakebizzle for the fire station, which closely resembles the real one - LJR Modding for the COOP Fert Seed Shed Note: I have not tested the map in multiplayer. When owning the first farm, you need to buy the grain dryer to operate it properly. Storing grain in the dryer won't show in the silo info unless the product is dried. For non-dried products, use a regular silo. The update on 8/19/2025 adds the ability to mow alfalfa. You can still play with your saved game. On 11/13/25, a new save game is required. Onions now work with the Highlands DLC. You can fish in the pond at the school and sell onions at the farmers market. The pond lighting has been improved. The No Creek Farmhouse has been removed for Giants' console testing. On 12/16/25, a new save game is required. The Carpentry icon has been fixed. Added liquid Fertilizer, Herbicide, and Water behind the Pioneer Dealer, along with several small bug fixes.
