– Sugar beet now yields two waste products: molasses and dehydrated beet pulp.
– Sugar cane produces cane sugar and cane juice, with two waste products: bagasse and molasses. All this sugar is used to craft delicious barley sugar, sweets, strawberry candies, and honey candies.The waste from your sugar industry can be utilized in various ways:
– Selling, especially bagasse to biogas plants
– Producing a complete mixed ration for your livestock:
1. Adding molasses and dehydrated beet pulp to silage
2. Using bagasse and molasses (note: bagasse has low nutritional value, leading to some loss in production)
Two silos are available for storing sugar cane, and two for sugar beet.
