Welcome to Rottumer Island. This fictional map is inspired by my imagination. The story behind the island is that it is reclaimed land from the Wadden Sea (Netherlands) to create more space for dairy and arable farming. It also features a production forest for lumber, which can be used on the island or processed into products. The dairy farms on the island are based on real farms from mainland northern Netherlands. The island includes several lakes and waterways connecting them. You can use these waterways and lakes to supply water for your animals and greenhouses, but not from the smaller ditches! The majority of the island is flat, allowing you to build your own farm or production facilities wherever you like. If you prefer larger fields, you can also fill in the ditches to combine fields or farmland. You start with one dairy farm and an arable farm, equipped with most of the tools and supplies needed to begin. Purchasing farmland or field 1 grants access to the 'unbuyable' land, enabling you to mow the roadside and merge fields. Fences can be removed in multiplayer mode using FarmID 1.
