TJM Farming, - Siid Modding for the original tractor in FS19 and FS22
66.76 MB
My first Tractor convert release for FS25 and one that I simply cannot do without for FS25 – the John Deere 8760/8960. - Fixed wetness in the cab interior and on the exterior of the tractor. The bonnet will now get wet while the cab stays dry. - Replaced the rear axle with a properly scaled one kindly provided by Deyluck Farms (Cheers mate, you rock!). - Tweaked the colours of the tractor triangle on the back of the cab to red and white, matching what all the real 8760 and 8960s carried from the factory. - Rearranged a few elements in the i3d to accommodate the 8570 bonnet BcBuhler provided, intended for future use on the tractor. This is not a motor configuration yet; decals and other details still need to be added. - The stock Deere steering wheel has been updated to the correct material (painted metal, not rubber), and the Trimble steering wheel has been upgraded to the FS25 Trimble wheel, also used on Deyluck’s 8650. **History behind this mod:** In real life, my dad bought a 1992 John Deere 8760 in 1996 for use as his main air seeding and ploughing tractor in Western Australia. After a few years, we found some faults, notably poor visibility at night with the factory lights. To fix this, new LED Hella spotlights and a light bar were installed for better night visibility by the early/mid 2000s. Recently, in 2024, we sold this tractor, affectionately nicknamed "Big Green." Since I couldn’t keep a piece of the real tractor, I decided to recreate Big Green’s light bar in FS22. Like the 7810, this mod took some effort to perfect. The original FS22 version had an incorrect gearbox and sounds, which appeared to be taken from a Fendt rather than a John Deere. **Updates/changes from FS22:** - The mod has been updated to FS25 materials, so the tractor will get wet in all expected areas, though water droplets are less noticeable on the hood. - Equipped with the John Deere 15L engine sounds from Deyluck’s 8650 mod, the closest I can get to authentic recordings of the real 8760. - All tires are standard FS25 with BKT, Michelin, and Continental brands, with plans to add Firestone and Goodyear tires soon after Spesard & STX Farms’ tires are ready. - The cab materials have been updated, and preparations are in place for a future update that will include an option for a 24-speed Synchro-shift. - Precision Planting and Kinze Monitors have been upgraded to match the standards used in Casearias’ Steiger. - All lights on the tractor have been updated to FS25 standards.

Thanks for the well-done update! This keeps the game modern and enjoyable. Your attention to detail, like how the cab differs rainy weather, elevates the immersion. I'm looking forward to how it'll continue to develop!
