Corteva Pivot Circular Irrigation Category: Yield Improvements / Sprayers ATTENTION: For proper operation of this mod, carefully read all instructions in this description. Otherwise, the mod may not work correctly. Take a moment to read thoroughly so you can fully enjoy the mod. Circular pivot systems irrigate large areas in a circular pattern. They are ideal in locations where water is a critical resource. Pivot irrigation efficiency ranges from 85% to 90%. Liquid fertilizers and herbicides can also be added during irrigation. To enable the pivots to operate independently, I integrated them into a vehicle with a motor. This allows the system to run without being attached to a vehicle. They can also operate without the vehicle being present, provided the automatic start option is disabled in the vehicle settings. Note that vehicles will turn off after 3 minutes if moved more than 300 meters away. Let's review the features and operation: Features (listed in store order): - Base price: $45,800 - Working widths: 68m, 124m, 180m, 236m - Field contour guides: Yes or No - Coupler configuration: Low coupler (Ball) or Normal coupler (Pin) - Number of sections: 1 (68m radius), 2 (124m), 3 (180m), or 4 (236m) - Rotation and duration settings: Full lap, 3/4 lap, 1/2 lap, 1/4 lap; durations of 3, 5, 10, 20, or 30 minutes - Note: Short durations (3 and 5 minutes) cause the pivot to turn quickly, which may lead to hitting at the start and end. - Color options - Tank capacity: 4000 liters of liquid fertilizer or herbicide - Liquid consumption: 500 liters per full turn at 30-minute duration Operation: - Warnings: The pivot can only be unfolded and folded in its initial position. Never rotate the pivot when it is not unfolded. - Transport the trailer to the desired field. - Note: While the pivot adapts to sloped terrain, it performs best and vibrates less on flat ground. - If guides are enabled, they can be made visible with the left mouse button to help position the pivot and for field layout. - Ensure the area is smooth and free of soil layers to prevent vibrations. - Position the trailer in the direction you want the pivot to extend; it deploys backward from the trailer. - Once in position, uncouple the pivot from the transport vehicle, approach the trailer, and mount it (use the E key). - Deploy the pivot using the Z key (open cover). The number of sections affects deployment difficulty; wait until the red rotating lights turn off to confirm full deployment. - Fill the tanks with liquid fertilizer or herbicide. - Note: Do not fill with diesel, as it has zero consumption. - After deployment and filling, activate the sprayers with the B key and initiate rotation with the X key. - You can then disembark and let the pivot operate automatically. - The pivot stops at the end of its path automatically, but sprayers must be turned off manually.

Consider adding a timing feature to efficiently integrate irrigation and fertilizer application for management.

Great mod, definitely adds another layer of complexity to irrigation! One minor suggestion: I'd love to have a better visual cue for the roll back operation – sometimes it feels a bit too close to the edge when it's folded. Maybe even an audio alert when the sprayer halts? Also, you think it might be possible to tune down the speed at lower durations instead of that almost scraping the borders twist? Overall, looking forward to more citrus precision in crop-management. Thanks for bringing it to the field supports!

Great mod, really enjoying the pivot system! It makes my irrigation total laid out more efficiently, definitely notice the yield improvements.

Why did the farmer install the circular pivot device? Because he wanted to hope for better yield rather than going in endless circles! Nice mod; it operates really well—just make sure those field corners aren't sharp after deployment to avoid clashes.
