As its advertisement said: “the greatest Pegasus, great among the greats, Troner, great of Spain.”
The Pegaso Troner was presented at the Barcelona show in May 1987, although it began to be marketed in October of that same year. The first version was the 1236 (4×2) it had a 360hp engine, with a 12 liter and 24 valve engine, an engine that had already been used in the Tecno but varying the cylinder heads, Twin-Flow.
These first Troners were not very good, they used a lot of oil and caused problems, but they were solved little by little.
