This update introduces the release gate: a mechanism that keeps new systems locked until intentionally released.New in this version:
Release gate. Seasonal Crop Stress now includes a lock registry that prevents experimental systems from being activated until explicitly released, independent of difficulty settings.
New setting: Experimental Systems. Found in the mod settings, default off (stable only). Enable it to use experimental features at your own risk.
No features are gated yet. This update wires the mechanism in. Future updates, including the #89 rebuild and moisture-coupling rows, are planned but not yet implemented. The F93 temperature fix remains in the stable baseline. All other features—soil moisture, crop stress, irrigation, and the F93 temperature fix—function as before.
