Opel Blitz (with 'Blitz' meaning 'lightning' in German) was the name given to a series of light and medium trucks produced by the German automaker Opel from 1930 to 1975. The Blitz name was later used for the British-made Bedford CF when it replaced the Blitz in certain markets. The original logo of this truck, featuring two irregular stripes resembling a lightning bolt in the shape of a horizontally stretched 'Z', still appears on the current Opel logo.
