At its core is a PlasmaStar 250 XXS, powering the rear wheels via a heavy-duty D32 steel driveshaft. Originally designed for a different purpose, the system has been adapted for agricultural use with several discreet modifications. The result is a truck that combines the familiar sound and feel of a diesel with the high-pitched whine of advanced electric motors. Its unconventional energy transfer system may not be the most efficient or refined, but it highlights the ingenuity and persistence behind its creation—a true testament to keeping a beloved machine working the fields long after its prime. **List of modifications:** The engine and transmission were designed by Mayuka (MMus1cc) to emulate a 2-speed electric truck. Like real-world trucks, it’s intended to tow a trailer, but without one, it offers the instant torque characteristic of electric vehicles. With a load, it drives smoothly. Reverse speed is limited to facilitate easier backing. Manual shifting allows downshifting to low range or ‘D’, with the default forward mode being S+ (Sport Mode). It features a functioning aftermarket-style power gauge displaying electric motor power usage. The fuel tanks have been removed and replaced with a battery box (designed by Amina (1chig0_A)), complete with batteries and an electric charging port. The electric range is set to mimic that of a conversion kit, creating the feeling of always needing to plug in—making the vehicle practical for service use as well. Clearance lights can be set to orange, white, or green. The slanted CB antennas have been replaced with a standard mirror-mounted antenna. New connections and a catwalk have been added to the rear of the tractor, now equipped with hydraulic connections.
