Functionality: These calf huts operate like any other cattle husbandry setup. Animals can be fed, watered, and supplied with straw using trailers, bales, pallets, shovels, or straw blowers—all input triggers are clearly marked. For a better gameplay experience, it is recommended to use small tools like wheelbarrows or small vehicles such as skid steer loaders. To clean manure from the calf enclosure, first move the fence aside, then position your shovel or trailer inside the fenced area and press R to start loading (default keybinding—check your controls menu). Cows in this enclosure do not produce milk or liquid manure, only manure, and require daily manual care. Recommendations / requirements: Using the "More Animal Enclosures Possible (64)" mod (by modelleicher / Farming Agency) is recommended to build multiple calf huts.
