The GTE is the Hybrid version of the GTI with a thermal engine and an electric which combine to produce a power of 245 hp (power equal to the GTI). in the games it is in thermal without its engine at start-up to make it sound like a hybrid car, because in the games you cannot have two different fuels on a single vehicle
