When will Farming Simulator 22 be released?

Giants Software just announced the new Farming Simulator 22. But when can we expect the release of this game? Today we gonna take a deep dive into the history of the release dates of the previous games.

Farming Simulator games are always known the be released in the Q4 every two years separated between them.

The first Farming Simulator game 2008 was released on 14 April 2008. This was the first of something that would be later a super successful franchise. The game lacks a lot of features compared to the current versions.

Farming Simulator 2009 was released on March 30, 2009: The second in the series with Mod support new crops and more machines. The vision of Giant Software took shape with this version.

Farming Simulator 2011 was released on 29 October 2010: FS 2011 brought multiplayer to the franchise, cows, and new brand name. From this point, we can see a tradition in released dates.

Farming Simulator 2013 was released on 25 October 2012: Almost exactly two years after 2011. The games brought more crops such as potatoes and beets. New animals and a lot of new machines. On the cover was the new main brand shown Case.

Farming Simulator 2015 was released on 30 October 2014: Again almost exactly 2 years later. The tradition is again followed. FS15 brought two new maps to the game and the ability to cut trees.

Farming Simulator 2017 was released on 25 oktober 2016: And again almost exactly 2 years later. So it's safe to say that they try to follow their tradition and feel comfortable to release their game the end of octobre. FS17 in known to bringing a lot of new brands to the game and the return of Fendt.

Farming Simulator 2019 was released on 19 november 2018: The normal release date was also set in octobre but the game was delayed by a month because it wans't finished on time. This is at the moment the current version and is already released for almost 3 years. This is also the first Farming Simulator game that Mod-Network released mods for.

Conclusion:

When can we expect the new FS22 game? They said it will be released in Q4 of 2021. If we look at the previous dates then we can assume that it's not gonna be in December. They never released a game in December and that wouldn't be a very good strategy because it's to close the the Holidays. Giants Software is probably aiming again for the end of Octobre. If their are no delays expected.

Our guess would be 26 of Octobre. Why? Most of the games were released on the last Tuesday of the month Octobre. They are familiar with this time period and their is probably a reason why they try to go for the last Tuesday of the month Octobre. But of course we can only guess at this point.
